Krka National Park is located in Šibenik County. It covers the area of the Krka River and the lower course of the Čikola River, including seven waterfalls, the spring of Krka, animal and plant habitats, archaeological sites, sacral architecture, ethnographical and industrial heritage.
The Park is a place of exceptional value, unique for its extraordinary travertine formations. Skradinski buk is the biggest of the seven waterfalls on the Krka River. Covering an area of 400 m in length and 100 m in width, with its 17 cascades, it is the largest travertine cascade system in Europe.
Swimming is allowed at the foot of the waterfall, and many visitors enjoy refreshing moments there during the hot summer days.
