Cerovac caves & Muškovci

Cerovac Caves are located on the slopes of southern Velebit, on the northeastern side of Crnopac hill, within the protected area of the Velebit Nature Park. The nearest town is Gračac, just 4 km away. The Lower and Upper Cerovac Caves are open for tourist visits, each with a path of approximately 700 meters.

The tour of both caves takes about 3 hours in total, with 50 minutes spent inside each cave, while the remaining time is a walk from the visitor center to the caves and back. The average temperature inside the caves is around 7 ºC.

Muškovci is a village in the hinterland of Zadar County, situated right along the Zrmanja River, approximately 25 km south of the Cerovac Caves. The Muškovci excursion site is best known as the main river swimming area on the Zrmanja and a key hotspot for adventure tourism in the Zadar hinterland.

First Stop: guided tour of the Cerovac Caves in duration of 1 hour and 15 minutes — a true underground miracle of nature. After that, it is time for a break and lunch at the “Lički sokol” family farm. Enjoy a delicious meal of mixed meat, fresh bread, salad and apple pie, along with a traditional brandy tasting.

Next Stop: Muškovci river resort. We head to the scenic swimming and relaxation area on the Zrmanja River for approximately 3 hours.

Final Stop: Pariževačka Glavica viewpoint, where you can witness a spectacular, breathtaking view of the stunning Zrmanja River canyon.

A day packed with incredible experiences, natural beauty and unforgettable memories!
